At LINC MGM, we ignite the potential of our community by fostering meaningful connections between high school leaders and the broader Montgomery landscape. We are dedicated to empowering the next generation of change-makers through collaboration, innovation, and shared vision. Together, we bridge the gap between education and community, cultivating pathways for growth, inclusivity, and a brighter future for all. We believe that by uniting our voices and resources, we can inspire transformation and propel Montgomery forward, one leader at a time.
OUR VISION:
Our vision is to foster a Montgomery where community connections thrive and young, local leaders choose to remain, contributing their skills and passion to enrich and uplift the entire community.
Highlights from our Inaugural Class
We could not have asked for a better and more diverse group of students in our inaugural class to kick off LINC MGM! they were dedicated in attending every class, stepping out of their comfort zone to grow as leaders, and creating lasting relationships with other students from around the city. They also created from the ground up a service project that they titled, "Pockets of Peace". Our students collected over 200 winter coats from their peers and ironed a motivational quote or bible verse onto every sleeve before passing them out to the homeless community in Montgomery. So proud of these incredible young men and women!

OUR COURSE OF ACTION
LINC MGM is not only a (misspelled) verb describing our ultimate goal of bridging the gap between the schools and communities in Montgomery, but also an acronym describing the process to achieving that goal.
LEAD
Every class day will be centered on a key component in leadership development. The students will be given the tools to be the best and most effective leaders they can be as they progress in their lives and careers.
INNOVATE
Every class will choose a service project that they are passionate about and will impact the city positively., They will work together to make this project a success from the ground up and be a real part of the growth of Montgomery.
NETWORK
The students will meet and network with leaders throughout the city during their LINC MGM experience. They will learn how a city operates, see the passion people have for their jobs, and expand their vision on how they can make a change.
CONNECT
The students will get to surround themselves with peers they otherwise may never have met. Each class will be a group of like-minded individuals who have been chosen to participate because of the potential seen in them from the faculty and staff at their school. They will see first-hand how much more we can accomplish together.
MGM
LINC MGM will introduce these students to a Montgomery they have not yet experienced. Each class day will be hosted by a college in the city, they will get to explore the history and beauty of our city, and they will learn about the issues our city faces daily and those who are working to correct them..
